2026 Putnam County Mural Fest
Our third mural festival will take place September 5-19, 2026. Four new murals will be painted; three in Greencastle and one in Cloverdale. A fifth mural will be installed in Spring 2027 due to scheduling conflicts. All artists were selected through a community-led process to help identify artists and artwork that would represent the diverse tastes and interests of Putnam County residents.

About the wall:
Located in downtown Cloverdale, this wall will become a new piece of public art just a few blocks from a mural created through our festival in 2024. Christina Hollering’s mural will add to the growing collection of public art in downtown Cloverdale, helping create a connected experience for residents and visitors as they explore the community.
About the artist:
Christina Hollering is an Indianapolis-based muralist, visual artist, and Associate Professor at the Herron School of Art and Design. Her vibrant work explores the intersection of nature and science, often featuring native plants and animals while encouraging viewers to consider their connection to the natural world. Christina’s murals and public artwork can be found throughout Indiana and beyond, and her work has been commissioned by organizations including Indy Parks, Eskenazi Health, the NBA, WNBA, and Waste Management.

Moose Lodge Wall (Greencastle, IN)

About the wall:
Located on the West-facing wall of the Moose Lodge in downtown Greencastle, this wall will become home to a vibrant new mural by internationally-recognized artist Arlin Graff. The mural will bring new energy and color to the space while adding another landmark to Putnam County’s growing collection of public art.
About the artist:
Arlin Graff is a Brazilian-born visual artist and muralist whose work transforms animals and elements of nature into vibrant compositions of geometric shapes, fragmented forms, and bold color. His artistic style grew from his early work as a graffiti artist in Brazil and his fascination with nature, particularly birds and wildlife. Today, Arlin creates murals around the world, using public art to explore the relationship between nature, people, and the urban environment.

The Bodega Wall (Greencastle, IN)
Artist: Miss Birdy

About the wall:
Located in downtown Cloverdale between the Putnam County Community Foundation and The Bodega, this wall will become the newest addition to Cloverdale’s growing collection of public art. Miss Birdy’s mural will help connect this part of downtown with other murals created through the Putnam County Mural Project, inviting residents and visitors to discover more art as they explore the community.
About the artist:
Miss Birdy, also known as Mandi Caskey, is a Columbus, Ohio-based muralist and storyteller known for transforming large-scale public spaces into imaginative worlds. Her work blends realism and fantasy with elements of nature, mythology, and symbolism, creating colorful narratives that invite viewers to pause, explore, and connect with their surroundings. With more than 400 murals completed around the world, Miss Birdy brings extensive experience and a distinctive creative voice to every wall she paints.

3G Bowling Alley Wall (Greencastle, IN)

About the wall:
Located on the south side of Greencastle at 3G Bowl Bar & Grill, this mural will span the building’s east- and south-facing walls, creating a large-scale piece of public art visible to people traveling through the area and enjoying the nearby People Pathways Trailhead. The mural will bring new color and energy to this gateway into the community while expanding the Putnam County Mural Project beyond downtown.
About the artists:
Jenna Morello is a Brooklyn-based multidisciplinary artist and muralist known for bold, expressive works that often draw inspiration from nature. Her large-scale murals can be found across the country and around the world, and her work has been commissioned by organizations including the World Trade Center, Universal Music Group, Macy’s, and the Super Bowl. Jenna’s murals often bring natural imagery into urban spaces, creating vibrant works that invite viewers to pause and connect with their surroundings.
