OUR STORY

The Putnam County Mural Project is a team of arts, education, tourism, business, and nonprofit professionals who see the value of arts and community.

Established in 2019, the PCMP committee's first project became one of Indiana's largest murals located in Greencastle, IN. A focus on creative placemaking and meaningful arts-engagement resulted in a project that received both state and national attention. Since then, the team has installed world-class murals across multiple communities throughout the entire county, including three mural festivals and one-off mural projects; engaged more than 1,000 kids through arts education and enrichment programs; and raised more than half a million in public arts funding.
